This event is now full but there is space for day croppers - cost is $50.00 per day (Friday and Saturday only) and includes morning/afternoon tea and lunch and dinner. LAYOUT WITH TRINA MCCLUNE Friday 7 - 9pm

Thsi will be a STUNNER in true Trina style - she is still busy designing it but here is her little teaser..... Cost is $45.00 for retreat attendees, and $50.00 for non-retreat attendees.

HERITAGE EXPLODING BOX WITH MEGAN - Saturday 9 - 12pm

Megan has created a stunning "Exploding Box' class using heritage style papers and embellishments. This is absolutely gorgeous, those who saw it in the shop when Megan brought it in to show me will verify..... it is beautiful. Kaisercraft is generously subsidising this class which has enabled us to keep the cost down for you. THANK YOU KAISERCRAFT.

Cost for the class is $45.00 for retreat attendees and includes everything that you will need, and you will have some leftovers too!!! The class will run for 3 hours to allow sufficient time for everyone to complete the project. All attendees will also receive a lovely handmade gift from Megan. Cost for this class is $45.00 for retreat attendees, $50 for non-retreat attendees.

SMASH ALBUM WITH TRINA MCCLUNE - Saturday 2 - 5pm

Trina's other class is a SMASH album which she is currently working on - sneak peeks to come. You will be creating your album from start to finish using a variety of techniques. Cost for this class is $55.00 for retreat attendees, and $60.00 for non-retreat attendees.

All class costs include all materials to create the project however there will be a materials list supplied regarding photos, and any other specific things needed but you will need your basic tool kit and adhesives as tools will not be provided.

BOOKINGS

Bookings for classes are on a 'first in first served' basis. Class payments must include your name and 'classes' as references. When booking please include youur name, address, phone number, and email address in your email to retreat@scrappinpatch.co.nz.

Once your place is confirmed the deposit must be paid into our account BNZ 02 0810 0052080 01 using your name and 'classes' as the reference, we will accept eftpos or CC if that is more convenient for you..

Bookings are open to non-retreat attendees after 16 February for an additional $5.00 per class.

GLENTUI DAY VISITOR CHARGES

Glentui Meadows charges $10.00 per person who comes onto the site during the day for activities such as classes. This charge is in addition to the class fee and must be paid when booking your class.

If you would like to come to the retreat for the day on Saturday the cost is $50.00 and covers morning/afternoon tea as well as lunch and dinner and the whole day to attend classses and crop You can arrive anytime from 8.00 am.

Classes are almost ready now - be sure to check on here, our Facebook page, and your email inbox for information about the three classes that will be available during the weekend. Retreat attendees will be offered a 'special' class price until 16 February after which any spare places will be advertised to non-attendees. So please ensure you book promptly once the information is released. If you would like to register before seeing the images - some have already done this - please email your information to retreat@scrappinpatch.co.nz. Once prices are released you will need to deposit payment promptly to confirm your place.

The schedule is:
Friday 16 March 7 - 9pm - Trina layout class
Saturday 17 March 9 - 12pm - Megan OTP class - Exploding box heritage style
Saturday 17 March 2 - 5pm - Trina SMASH album class

Alrighty everyone, I'm sitting down now putting together my classes. I'm going to be doing two.

I have ideas of what I'd like to do, but would LOVE your feedback.

What do YOU want to learn? Be taught?
Layouts, altered items, jewellery, a mix, girl/boy, adult/child, more than 'x' photos, more than one LO in a class..... so many options...

I can't promise to deliver what everyone wants, but will try and work in what I can.

Can't wait to hear.

September Retreat - think Ranger!!!

We will be blessed with the presence of a lovely Aussie tutor to take us through a Mini Ranger U weekend - techniques, fun, mess as you play and learn with lots of products and create something beautiful to take home.

Dates are7 - 9 September at Glentui Meadows. Registration form will be available by late February once costs are finalised. If you would like to reserve your place you can email me and I will add you to the list.

Scrappin' Patch Autumn Retreat 2012

I am really excited to be able to announce that next years Retreat will be from 12pm 16 March - 2pm 18 March 2012 at Glentui Meadows Conference & Leisure Centre, North Canterbury.
Optional classes will be available during the weekend - confirmed tutors to date are Megan Gourlay and Trina McClune and details of classes will be revealed later this year. Bookings are now open - download a form today!!!! Bookings are now open and limited places are still available.

What would you like to see in the classes - techniques, lots of product, layout, OTP etc. If you would like OTP what would you like - mini album, canvas, wood creation, mirror, wall hanging, etc. Please post in the comment section or on our FB page :)
